Take this into consideration before your purchase
The dimensions of this residential gas pressure washer measure 33 x 21 x 19 inches, which means that you won’t have any particular problems with moving it around at storing it. It comes with a pretty impressive engine, manufactured by Honda – it’s a 190 cc engine that powers the OEM axial cam pump, with this pump delivering a pressure of 3100 PSI and having a flow rate of 2,5 GPM. This, of course, means that there aren’t many jobs that are too tough for this machine.
The design is very sleek and compact, with big pneumatic tires and a spray gun that sports five pressure settings. You won’t have any problems with the assembly, which is always a big plus.
A Powerful Engine
As we already said, the engine is one of the best features of the Simpson MSH3125-S. Made by the famous Japanese manufacturer Honda, this thing provides a lot of power for the axial cam pump, making every job a breeze to do.
The Excellent Materials
The sheer power is not the only important thing with the gas pressure washers – you’ll need it to be sturdy enough for the upcoming wear and tear. This model comes with a frame made from welded steel, while the hose is poly-braided and thus very durable and flexible.
Five Spray Options
Fortunately for everyone who is doing lots of different cleanup chores around the house, the Simpson MSH3125-S comes with five nozzles, giving you a range of spray options from zero to forty degrees. This allows you to engage in both the gentle and the high-pressure cleaning.
A Convenient Design
The overall design of this model is convenient which makes it easy to use, especially when it comes to the ergonomically designed spray wand – it produces the high-pressure sprays with very little vibration. There’s also a holster for the wand as well as the hook for the hose.
What We Didn’t Like
This model isn’t entirely perfect, of course. It has a few drawbacks, with the biggest of them being the fact that the Simpson MSH3125-S has no hot water spray. This is something that’s always nice to have on the gas pressure washer, and we’re sorry to see that such an excellent model comes without it.
Furthermore, the machine is quite noisy at some times – not so much that the user needs the ear protection, but loud enough to make you shout over it when talking with someone. The engine also produces fumes, which is normal for the pressure washers of this kind but it also prevents you from using it in the enclosed spaces.
Finally, the engine requires occasional maintenance – nothing serious, of course, but in order to keep it running smoothly, you will have to replace the spark plugs once in a while and also change the oil.
What Do Other Say?
Most of the online reviews are quite positive – users are praising the Simpson MSH3125-S for its ease of use and the sheer power that makes a short work of every cleaning task in a matter of minutes.
We found that some people think that this model has a fairly large footprint and that they had trouble storing it, but we disagree with these opinions. We think that you’ll easily find some space in the tool shed or the garage for it!
